The De Pere / Rockland staging facility supports the capping and sand covering operations from Little Rapids to the De Pere Dam.  The staging site was also used for welding and installation of the pipeline in the river. 

Sand, gravel and stone is piped from the staging area to spreading barges on the river during the capping and sand sovering operations.  

Staging operations will also take place at the Green Bay Processing Facility where capping materials will be stockpiled and loaded onto barges for the capping operations.
