Four years of progress for the Fox River Cleanup Project (2009-2012)…

• Estimated volume of sediment dredged - more than 2.16 million cubic yards
• Estimated tonnage hauled to landfill - more than 1.1 million tons
• Truckloads to landfill - nearly 49,000
• Water treated and discharged to the river - about 3.5 billion gallons
• Area of river bottom capped or sand covered - approximately 170 acres
• At the conclusion of the 2011 operating season, all dredging, capping and covering was completed in OU3, the area south of the De Pere Bridge

 

As of mid June, the project has topped 1,221,900 work hours without a lost time incident.
